NYE - Another Pub Crawl

Another Pub Crawl - Another other paycheck... Everyone seemed to have fun - and I rung in the New Year kissing my gay friend - even though I'd thought I'd set him up with another gay man on the crawl... midnight came around and I layed one on him.

The buses were full and fun and we went to 5 bars and gave away 3 trips to Mexico and All in All it was a success :)

It was good to have some friends there and meet some new people also... although the getting drunk and partying all night thing is kind of old and the crowd seems younger and younger with each passing crawl... I still get paid and I still have fun... and it has presented more job opportunities for me... such as promoting for clubs... I have been offered a position which is full time on salary to create and promote events for Friday and Sunday Nights at a Vancouver Club... this is good news, but with teaching and the crawls and waitressing it may be too many paid jobs... not that the money is a bad thing, however, the time is the problem.. as I also have the most important job of being a mommy to my quickly growing three year old (Four in a few months WOW!!!) and of course my own sanity to be kept in the way of a social life, sleep, cleaning my house, etc. etc.

Time will tell how 2007 will play out - but being mommy, teaching, and being a good friend are the top 3 priorities... while crawls, promotion, waitressing and other money making motives are definately important in helping me create a life I want - the stress and work for the dollar is far more than that of teaching.... and far less rewarding than chillin' on the couch with my lil' one
